The Business Women’s Group Blog spotlights the perspectives, experiences, and expertise of our members — and provides a low-pressure opportunity for them shape their platform, grow their portfolios, and lead with purpose.
If your pitch is accepted, you’ll have a chance to publish a piece that amplifies your voice and adds meaningful value to our growing community.
Blog Submission Guidelines
What We're Looking For
We welcome posts that are:
Personal reflections or lived experiences
Professional insights, how-to’s, or lessons learned
Case studies, frameworks, or original POVs on leadership, creativity, or career growth
Tied to your own “3 Ps” (platform, portfolio, purpose) journey
Voice & Style
Your post should be:
Polished and professional, with room for personality and style
Clear, human, and confident (humor always welcome and encouraged!)
Written in AP style, with limited exceptions for tone
Properly cited, with sources linked when referencing data, quotes, or outside ideas
AI Usage Guidelines
We believe in AI as a thought partner — not a ghostwriter.
AI tools may be used to help develop and articulate your original thoughts (e.g., brainstorming, outlining, refining)
Posts must be human-generated at the idea level
You’ll be asked to disclose what role (if any) AI played in your process during submission
Currently, this disclosure is for internal use only — we are not publicly tagging posts based on AI usage (but may revisit this in the future)
Review & Edits
All posts may receive light editing for grammar, clarity, and formatting. We’ll also review submissions for alignment with BWG’s:
Mission and Vision
Values and Community Standards
Impact Pillars: Learning, Connection, Leadership, Community
If a post needs more than light editing, we may return it with optional revision recommendations — always with care and clarity.
